Scripture: Acts 14:27 “27 And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.”
Observations: Leviticus had a lot to say about atoning for sin. Sure glad we don’t have to do that anymore! Thank you Jesus! In Acts, Paul prayed for a crippled man to have his legs restored, and the town tried to honor him and Barnabas as Zeus and Hermes. Then Paul was stoned in Lystra to the point of death, but the disciples surrounded him and prayed and he returned to life and evangelism.
Applications: Our story is extremely important. Sharing what God has done through us and around us is the greatest way to encourage others to follow the Lord! Don’t be afraid to share!
Prayer: Lord, you are glorious and gracious and merciful! We thank you for all the wonderful things you have done in our lives. Lord, we ask that you guide us to opportunities where we can share our faith through sharing our stories. Amen
