Scripture: Acts 25: 12 Then Festus, when he had conferred with his council, answered, “To Caesar you have appealed; to Caesar you shall go.”
Observations: In Numbers, the Lord gave marching orders for the different clans of the Levites. What amazes me is how organized everything was. There were directions on how to take things apart and what colors of cloth to wrap each piece inside. Everything had a place. In Acts, Paul is offered the opportunity to go back to Jerusalem to stand trial, but he instead appeals to Caesar. The Lord had spoken to Paul in Chapter 24 and stated that he would testify in Rome, so this truly played into the path the Lord had Paul on. At the end, King Agrippa requests an audience with Paul. Application: When God makes you aware of a plan, know for certain that he will open the doors so you can accomplish his plan. Paul had to go to Rome, so Felix was used to get him there. Sometimes non-Christians are used to get us where we need to be. Prayer: Lord help me to be aware of who you are using to direct me. Through the years I know you have used people who were not following you to get me where I was to go. Thank you for awakening me to your directions. Keep me open minded to your plans.
